Scripps: A Growing Partnership

Pixee Medical’s collaboration with Scripps Green, a leading orthopedic institution in the US, continues to grow. More surgeons at Scripps are integrating Pixee’s augmented reality guidance into their total knee replacement practice, a trend that reflects a broader shift underway in orthopedic surgery.

Pixee Medical’s collaboration with Scripps Green Hospital continues to grow, with more surgeons at the institution integrating our augmented reality guidance into their total knee replacement (TKA) practice. The latest is Dr. Mathieu Squires, who recently performed his first surgery with Knee+ NexSight. Pixee is eager to be part of this shift in orthopedic surgery, and to keep building on it, particularly at this institution.

A Different Kind of Adoption Story

Scripps Green is a high-volume, hospital-based surgical environment with its own workflows, its own pace, and its own standards for what earns a place in the OR.

That’s what makes this collaboration worth highlighting: Knee+ NexSight was built to be universal, adaptable to any surgical setting, from ASCs to established hospital systems, without requiring surgeons to change the way they already work.

As individual surgeons gain confidence and experience with the system, others at Scripps have followed.

A Partnership Built on Trust

The developments at Scripps Green Hospital reflect the broader shift underway in orthopedic surgery, as new technologies find their place in established, high-volume surgical environments.

Pixee Medical is proud to call Scripps a growing partner, and we’re grateful for the trust that the Scripps team, with its growing group of surgeons, have placed in Knee+ NexSight. As this collaboration continues to expand within a high-volume surgical environment, it reinforces what we believe at Pixee: that precise, intuitive AR guidance can have a place in a wide range of surgical environments, even in leading hospitals with established, high-volume workflows.
